A nerve-wracking move into a new home has turned out to be the perfect fit for Tomos.
It was a big decision for Tomos to move from the home he’s shared with his mum for the last 30 years into Swn Y Nant.
However, the time was right for a change, but that didn’t stop Tomos’ mum Dawn and brother Owen from worrying about how he would cope with leaving home.
Thankfully, all worries have been quickly allayed as Tomos has made himself at home at Swn Y Nant and loves his new digs.
According to Service Manager Jennifer Jenkins, it’s been a fantastic move for all concerned.
Jennifer said: “We were so happy to welcome Tomos to Swn Y Nant and it’s been terrific to see how well he’s settled here.
“Any change like this will be worrying for parents, but we’ve been able to liaise closely with Dawn and Owen to make this as seamless as possible.
“The support staff have been helping Tomos start his new life with plenty of activities and home comforts.
“Now Dawn’s only worry is how to keep Tomos entertained when he comes home for visits.”
